Well, after months of neglect I've decided rekindle this blog. I'm not going to lie, I was a little wary of blogging to begin with. Devoting an entire platform to myself seemed a little narcissistic and I was left asking myself, "why would anyone want to read what I have to write?" However, after trying to find that sweet spot between being completely self deprecating, and realizing that I CAN have a positive influence, I have decided to re-start this venture.
However, this blog is going to take on a little bit of a different tone than most.
I'm not going to sit here and type about my personal running, or bore you with life lessons from a mid-twenty year old. I'm not going to pretend I'm all knowledgeable or self-important or really really interesting.
Let's be real.
I am a mediocre runner and very new coach. I have a lot to learn and a long way to go.
Rather, this blog is going to act as a mirror for all of the wonderful things that that are going on in the running community. I'm going to talk a lot about Oiselle, the kickass women's running team that is redefining our sport. I'm going to talk a lot about my experience as a young female coach. I'm going to share with you the aspects of this sport that I love most, like the opportunity to travel, meet new people, be both an artist and a scientist, and continue to chase dreams at every level.
If anything, this will be a platform to display all the amazing-ness that is going on outside of my small little world.
Ready Ho!
